Ingredients:
- 5 lbs Short ribs (cut 2 in thick)
- 1 1/2 cups Dr. Pepper
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 tsp chilli pepper
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 medium onion (diced)
Steps:
1. Preheat over to 300 degrees F.
2. In a Dutch oven, heat oil to medium/ high heat. Season all sides of the meat with salt and pepper.
3. Sear all sides to caramelize until each side is browned.
4. Remove the meat and put it to the side.
5. In a dutch oven, saute onions and garlic.
6. Once transparent, add the remaining ingredients.
7. Bring the mixture to a boil and turn off the heat.
8. Add the Short ribs into the pot and cover.
9. Bake until short ribs are tender when pierced with a fork, roughly 3 hours.
10. Serve and enjoy
