Ingredients:
- 3 lbs
- 3 cups
- 2 tbsp
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1
- 1 large onion, large dice
- 1- 2 cups beef gravy, depending on thickness and flavour desired.
- 1 pkg puff pastry
Steps:
1. Combine flour with salt & pepper in a large zip lock bag. Add meat and coat with flour mixture. In a sauté pan, add oil and brown meat in batches. When cooked, put into a crockpot.
2. When meat is finished, use a sauté pan to brown onion and garlic. Adding to the crockpot when finished.
2. Add diced carrot, celery, potato, thyme, bay leaf, beef broth and Worcestershire to crockpot. Cook on low overnight or all day until the veggies are soft.
3. 1 hour before serving, add the peas and corn. Follow directions on the gravy package and add to stew when ready. The amount needed is based on thickness and taste preference.
4. Cut puff pastry into the desired shape and follow the directions as per the package when golden brown removes from over and serves as a garnish on the pot pie.
5. Serve and enjoy
