Ingredients:
- 4 lbs lean ground beef
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- Two 8 oz cans of tomato sauce
- One 6 oz can tomato paste
- 1 yellow pepper, diced
- 1/4 cup chilli powder
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 2 tsp ground oregano
- 15 oz can Kidney bean
- 15 oz can Pinto bean
- 15 oz can White Bean
- 15 oz can Black bean
- 2 cups frozen corn
Steps:
1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef with the garlic until it’s totally cooked.
2. Drain off any excess fat.
3. Add the tomato sauce, paste, peppers and seasonings.
4. Stir together well and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
5. If the liquid level seems low, add 1 cup of water.
6. Stir in the beans and corn.
7. Simmer the chilli for another 10 minutes, season to taste.
8. Serve with cornbread.
