Ingredients:
- 2 lbs potatoes (we use reds or whites and leave the skin on)
- 1/4 cup half-and-half
- 2-ounce unsalted butter
- salt
- pepper
- oil
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 lbs lean ground beef
- 1 tsp Worcestershire
- 2 cups frozen veggies ( peas, corn, carrots)
- 2 cups gravy(use-package and follow directions)
Steps:
1. Cube potatoes into a pot and cover with cold water, add salt and place over high heat. When soft, drain, then add the butter and cream. Mash to your family’s liking, seasoning with salt and pepper.
2. In the sauté pan, add oil, cooking onion and garlic until translucent over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until totally browned. Mix in Worcestershire and gravy, adding salt and pepper as needed.
3. Pour meat mixture into a casserole dish, layering after with the mixed veggies. Top with the mashed potatoes, spreading out smoothly. Cover and bake in a 350-degree oven for 30-45 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese for a delicious garnish.
4.Serve and enjoy
