Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large skillet, heat 2 tbsp oil over medium heat.
- Add the onion and garlic, sweating until they are translucent.
- Add the ground beef and sausages, breaking the meat into small pieces.
- Cook for about 15 minutes, until the meat is brown.
- Remove from the heat and let it cool.
- Spread a thick layer of sauce on the bottom on the bottom of a casserole dish.
- In a large bowl combine ricotta, eggs, salt, pepper and meat mixture.
- Stuff the shells with the mixture and place them in a single layer.
- Top with a layer of sauce and any remaining shells.
- Finish the top with tomato sauce.
- Bake for 30-45 minutes until the noodles are soft.
- Garnish with parmesan cheese and fresh chopped basil.
