Steps:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 2 tbsp oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the onion and garlic, sweating until they are translucent.
  4. Add the ground beef and sausages, breaking the meat into small pieces.
  5. Cook for about 15 minutes, until the meat is brown.
  6. Remove from the heat and let it cool.
  7. Spread a thick layer of sauce on the bottom on the bottom of a casserole dish.
  8. In a large bowl combine ricotta, eggs, salt, pepper and meat mixture.
  9. Stuff the shells with the mixture and place them in a single layer.
  10. Top with a layer of sauce and any remaining shells.
  11. Finish the top with tomato sauce.
  12. Bake for 30-45 minutes until the noodles are soft.
  13. Garnish with parmesan cheese and fresh chopped basil.
