Steps:
- Pat dry each of the minute steaks dry, and season both sides with salt & pepper.
- In an assembly line, coat each piece of meat in the flour, then egg and dip into the panko.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Drop-in a few sprinkles of flour to make sure it’s sufficiently hot.
- When the oil sizzles immediately, you know it’s ready.
- Cook the meat, only a few pieces at a time, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.
- Brown each side for 2-3 minutes.
- Remove the meat to a paper towel-lined plate and keep them warm by covering lightly with another plate or a sheet of foil.
- Continue until all the meat is cooked.
White Sausage gravy
Ingredients
- 1 pkg Sausage
- 1⁄4 cup flour
- 2 1⁄2 cups milk
- Salt & pepper to taste
Steps:
- Cook sausage in a large skillet over medium heat 5-6 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring frequently.
- Stir in flour.
- Gradually add milk; cook until mixture comes to a boil and thickens, stirring constantly.
- Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper.
